It almost feels like coming home
It was lovely to be back at Tidal Reach again, it almost feels like coming home. Nicci always ensures the property is in perfect order with welcoming touches tailored to her guests. Tidal Reach is perfectly located for any activities in the area, beaches, walking or just watching the tide hypnotically rise and fall. A quiet location and well served by amenities, pubs, shops, cafes etc within walking distance.

It is very comfortable, warm and well equipped. It is within walking distance of Bideford, the shops and supermarkets and the views across the estuary are both beautiful and interesting. The South West Coast Path is just outside the back gate, so is wonderfully situated for keen walkers. We would love to go back sometime.

We felt so at home
My family and I loved Tidal Reach. We felt so at home there from the moment we arrived and Nicci had made sure that everything was provided to make it an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
We really enjoyed how quiet the setting was and the views of the river from the back of the house were wonderful. We spent many happy hours chilling in the conservatory and on the patio, watching the river gently flow past.
The house was also very well situated, with easy access to Bideford which was a short walk away along the river side. We also got to Westward Ho!, and Atlantic Village really easily, which made it the perfect base for spending time on the beach and in local eateries. The memories we made with family during our stay at Tidal Reach will stay with us for a long time and we hope to be back soon.

Stunning views
A perfect location with stunning views of the estuary, walking distance to all amenities and many local attractions within driving distance. If you enjoy walking or cycling this is a great location. The house provides everything you need, beautifully clean, cosy and warm. Easy to make contact with the owner if any queries.

Perfect location for town
We would HIGHLY recommend a stay at this cottage. We were so pleased to see a welcome pack of tea,coffee, biscuits and milk when we arrived! Such a thoughtful touch! The conservatory looking out on the river was wonderful! And to sit in bed in the morning watching the river was just brilliant! Everything was spotless and there were plenty of information sheets around the place. Thankyou for a wonderful stay in Bideford! We will definitely return in the future. Perfect location for the town!

Winter or Summer, it’s perfect for us
We have been staying at Tidal Reach twice a year for the last 6 years and are not looking to go anywhere else!
The house is lovely , everything is always clean and tidy when we arrive and has everything you could need.
The location is just right as well, you can easily walk into Bideford and the South West Coast Path is literally on the doorstep.
Having the conservatory makes it perfect for us, winter or summer, we can just sit and watch the river go in and out with the tide and relax.

Ideal for walking
Located on the bank of the beautiful River Torridge, Tidal Reach is a modern, stylish,comfortable property. Ideal for walking, the South West Coast Path runs right past the back gate! The Tarka Trail is on the opposite bank, so if walking is your thing, it’s perfect! Instow and Westward Ho! beaches are less than 10 minutes drive, with easy access to the A39 for Barnstaple or Bude. Victoria Park is less than 5 minutes away, so if you didn’t want to walk so far, it’s ideal for walking the dog round. Bideford Town Centre is a further 5 minutes walk away. The property is perfect for lazy days too, with a conservatory that overlooks the river. Options are endless for whatever holiday you like, with Tidal Reach as your base!
